Wow what an event. The day started a little wet but that did not stop anyone from having a goodtime. Avalon Cigars attened and was one of the sponsoring vendors at this years Famous Smoke Cigar Expo in Easton PA. This was one of the most organized events that Avalon has attended in a longtime. Famous Smoke Cigar Expo is awesome.
Famous Smoke provided Beer samples, a Cigar Menu – choose from a variety of fine cigars brought to your table, a multi-course meal fit for a King, a DJ, live music, money-saving specials on dozens of premium cigar brands in the retail store, and raffled prizes. We donated two large framed pieces of art work and T-Shirts.
One last thing, we gave out all of our cigars, over 700, and our own personal supply LOL. But it was cool. Our cigars were a big hit at the Expo.

On June 5 I did an event at Smokers Outlet Troy and I must say I was surprised to see so many people at this event. It was awesome!!! Sam the owner had pizza for everyone then we had coffee and mean while we were smoking away. Then came the real surprise one of the event attendees was smoking a Hell hound Black cat Bone and he said what I have been saying that this is a complex cigar and changes on you many times he was in love. The next event is This Friday @ Smokersoutlet Pickney see you there.
What a great event we smoked some Juke cigars and great food. This Event was the 1st of 14 Cigar Tasting we will be doing with Smokers outlet. Come join us for the next one June 5, 2009 from 4 to 8 pm at Smokers Outlet in Troy
The crawfish were hot as hell! Bill Stephens really threw a party at his shop in Brandon, MS. Live radio remotes, BBQ, all sorts of liquid refreshments and yes… crawfish.
Avalon brought their favorite master blender and roller Pablo Romay in from Miami. Pablo rolled pretty much all day taking a break only when he experienced crawfish for the first time. He ate one, then two, then sat back in his chair and said “This is Ha ha ha HOT!”
The General reps and Dennis from Altidas were there as well. Everyone had a great time. Bill even made a few bucks.

The 2009 Juke Joint Festival in Clarksdale, MS was a huge success again this year. Thanks to all that joined us. This is what Avalon is all about, good cigars, good friends, good music and absolutely nothing to do but relax. A special thanks goes out to the Fat Mouth Blues Band, from Alabama. These guys came over on their own and jammed for us all weekend. They were fantastic. Be sure to visit their Myspace page.
